We are currently looking for a Project Manager/Senior Project Controls Manager to join our team. This is a 6-month contract based in Rustenburg.Minimum Requirements:Relevant DegreeAt least 5 years experience as a Project Controls ManagerMust be skilled in Cost Control, Change Control, and Schedule ControlMust have Project Planning experienceMust have 5 to 10 years experience as a Project Controls Manager in the mining environmentThe successful candidate must possess the ability to establish, track and report on action lists, schedules, and projects in a challenging environment with multiple stakeholders.Short Job Description:Form part of the IR/IB Consolidation project teamAttend consolidation action committee meetingsNote all actions forthcoming from consolidation meetingsReport weekly and as required on progress with projectsFacilitate in establishment of agreed scope and deliverables for the projectEstablish and maintain a baseline project schedule for the projectMaintain a Portfolio of Evidence (POE) for all deliverables forthcoming from consolidation schedulesReport weekly on progress of the project based on data forthcoming from the baseline schedule, by means of a comprehensive progress dashboardMaintain a project control register in terms of incidents, issues, decisions, and lessons learned from the project.Assist with any further schedules related to the IR/IB Consolidation project as they may arise and as per the details bulleted points above.The IR/IB Consolidation project is to be managed through 14 envisaged engineering workstreams:Asset Management and SAP ArchitectureUtilities and Technical ServicesTelecommunicationsElectrical SupplyInstrumentationWindersCompressors & Refrigeration PlantsWater ServicesSalvage and Refurbishment servicesStandards and proceduresTrainingLabour structureMining operationsSafetyEach of these workstreams will be represented with its individual deliverables and sub-deliverables by means of a master schedule. It may be that some workstreams may require separate more detailed schedules at a later stage. The 14 workstreams are focused on its synergies in the Engineering environment.
