Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, materials, and industry standards, including safety regulations and best practices.
Education and Certifications: A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).
Beneficial requirements: Scaffolding-specific certifications and safety training (e.g., VCA, NEN-EN 12811) are highly advantageous.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Project Management Skills: Experience in managing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Duties and responsibilities: The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management and a deep understanding of scaffolding practices.
Project Planning and Coordination: Lead the planning and coordination of scaffolding projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed to meet client expectations.
Team Management: Manage a team of scaffolding supervisors and workers, ensuring safe working practices, efficient project execution, and adherence to all safety regulations.
Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, providing progress updates, and resolving any issues that may arise during the project.
Quality and Safety Compliance: Monitor the quality of scaffolding installations and ensure that all work complies with health, safety, and industry regulations, minimizing risk and ensuring operational safety.
Budget and Resource Management: Control project costs, track expenditures, and manage resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget without compromising quality.
