As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to finishDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocationsCoordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectationsSelect and manage subcontractors and suppliersCarry out toolbox talks where required to subcontractorsMonitor project progress and ensure that work is being completed according to specifications and timelinesIdentify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the projectCommunicate project updates and progress to stakeholdersEnsure compliance with all safety and building regulationsImplement project health & safety strategies and ensure compliance with current regulations and specific client requirementsCoordinate the management of the trade-to-trade handover processConduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality controlComplete accurate project materials take-off as allocated by the project procurement processPrepare and present project reports to management and clientsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldQS in trade with Pr CPM registration (highly advantageous)Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industryProven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materialsStrong understanding of building services including design principles, method statements, inspection test plans, risk assessments, commissioning, and handover requirementsSkills:Excellent time management and organizational skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAbility to influence and drive positive attitudes and behaviours with regards to site health and safetyProficient in project management software and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of local building and construction codes and regulations
