Job Title: Project Manager Private Security Industry Location: South Africa Reports to: Operations Manager / General Manager Employment Type: 2-year contract Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee security operations and ensure the effective management of various client sites. The successful candidate will play a critical role in client relations, operational oversight, and project execution within the private security sector. You will be responsible for coordinating security teams, managing resources, and ensuring service excellence in line with client expectations. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee security operations across multiple client sites. Lead and supervise operational teams to ensure compliance with security protocols and client requirements. Maintain and build strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for all project-related matters. Ensure that security personnel are fully trained, equipped, and capable of delivering top-tier service. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables to meet client objectives. Monitor departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective service delivery within financial constraints. Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant security and safety regulations. Report on project performance, incidents, and client satisfaction to senior management. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Qualifications and Experience: Matric or equivalent (NQF level 4). PSIRA Grade B registration is required. Further education in Policing/Investigations is essential. Tertiary education in Project Management or a related field will be highly beneficial. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in client relations and direct client management. At least 3 years of managerial experience within a security or operational environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated experience working in and leading operational teams. Experience managing departmental budgets and ensuring cost control. Valid driver's license and own vehicle are required for travel between sites. Key Skills: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Excellent interpersonal and client management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong organizational and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant project management software. Remuneration: Competitive package (CTC) of R35,000 R42,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits: Medical aid contribution. Gap cover.
