Redheads Engineering Solutions is seeking a dynamic Project Manager/Project Engineer for a prominent client in the construction sector.Location: Cape Town & Johannesburg.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Project Management: Ensure timely and cost-effective project completion while maintaining quality standards.Project Delivery: Oversee projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.Technical Guidance: Provide expertise and direction to project team members.Engineering and Logistics: Manage engineering, logistics, and commissioning activities.Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Communication: Facilitate effective communication and resolution of project-related issues.Project Planning: Collaborate with project/contract managers to define project scope and plan accordingly.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks.People Management: Recruit, train, and manage project staff according to company policies.Project Finance: Monitor project expenditures, manage funds, and prepare financial reports.Technical and Design: Ensure technical compliance and facilitate product testing.Business Development: Contribute to tendering processes and ensure compliance with technical requirements.Contractual and Commercial: Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and manage associated risks.This role demands a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of project management in the construction industry.If you possess the required qualifications and experience and are ready to excel in a challenging yet rewarding environment, we invite you to apply.Desired Experience & QualificationThe ideal candidates will hold a minimum of a National Diploma/BTech/BSc in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) and/or Construction/Project Management.Registration as a Professional Engineer Technician with ECSA and as a Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr.CPM) at SACPCMP is essential, along with familiarity with NEC/FIDIC/JBCC contracts.A minimum of 10 years' experience in construction, engineering, or consulting, including 5 years in a managerial capacity, is required.Redheads Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd
