About this position - What Does a Project Manager Do?
Primary point of contact to the client, responsible for keeping them up to date throughout the projectLead project planning and implementationDefine project scope, goals, tasks, and resource requirementsCreate and manage project schedulesAssemble and coordinate project teamsManage project budget and resourcesTrack project progress and deliverablesProvide direction and support to project teamsRegularly review project plans and schedulesCommunicate project expectations and contribute to project plans (internal and client facing)Resolve project issues and implement change ordersReport project progress and present solutions to problems (internal and client facing)Regularly participate in project team meetingsPrepare spend and forecast during project lifecycleAssist with Organizational Change Management activitiesExperience & Skills:
Be hyper organized.Ability to build systems to keep up with increasing numbers of projects.Love working in a fast-paced environment for a company with ambitious growth goals.Knowledge of budgeting and financial management, with the ability to develop and manage project budgetsExperience creating or being involved in the Scope of Work processStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risksExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersKnowledge of and experience with change management methodologiesFamiliarity with security and data privacy regulations and standardsAbility to analyze project data and create reports for stakeholdersExperience with resource allocation and vendor managementAbility to motivate and mentor team members to achieve project goals
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred
