Your opportunity:
The Department of Medicine (DOM) is one of the largest in North America, with 830 full-time faculty members and 1,000 postgraduate trainees. As Project Manager, you will play an instrumental role in leading the planning, implementation, and execution of projects and process improvements across our department. Leveraging your project management skills, you will support strategic planning initiatives and provide consultation to our Chair and leadership team on policy improvements and academic recruitment strategies.
Your responsibilities will include: Building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and partners.Leading the development and making recommendations for policy, procedures, and best practices.Developing, revising, and operationalizing business processes that support unit activities.Analyzing administrative processes and recommending changes for improvement.Providing academic search and review process support.Directing the activities of staff-appointed employees.Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Minimum five years' project management experience in a University, medical school, or comparable environment.Experience building and maintaining positive working relationships with stakeholders.Experience supporting external reviews and strategic planning projects.Experience in coordinating departmental academic searches and reviews.Experience leading and managing multiple projects.Experience providing high-level administrative support.Experience utilizing data for decision-making.Experience facilitating focus groups and senior-level committees.Experience supervising and directing workflow.Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and project management tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Exceptional organizational skills in project planning.Strong time management skills.Ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources.Strong initiative and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.To be successful in this role you will be: DiplomaticGoal-orientedProactiveSelf-directedTeam playerClosing Date: 10/15/2024, 11:59PM ET
