Project Manager

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our client in the mining industry in the Northern Cape. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating capital and improvement projects within the company.Responsibilities:Develop and implement project plans in accordance with company guidelines and objectives.Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure successful project completion within budget and timelines.Provide leadership and direction to project team members, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.Monitor and track project progress, identifying any potential risks or issues and implementing solutions as needed.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.Requirements:Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.Degree or National Diploma in Mining or Mechanical Engineering.Post graduate qualification in Project Management.At least 8-10 years related Opencast Mining experience, of which at least 3-5 years must be in a similar role (Project Manager overseeing fleet of Heavy Earthmoving Equipment) carrying applicable Legal appointment.Competency A training.Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control Training (HIRAC).Must have successfully completed Strata Control 2 course.Surface / Opencast blasting certificate (Advantageous).Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits:Salary: negotiable.Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity).Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable).RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
