Project Manager The Intelligent Debt Management (IDM) Group, South Africa's largest and multi-award winning debt management company, has a position available for a Project Manager. We are looking for an intelligent, diverse, creative, and energetic candidate to join the Projects Team with the roll out of new products, innovation, and automation projects across the business.
Requirements: A financial or technical degreeExperience in creating new procedures and reportsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience in managing projectsAdvantageous: PMI or Scrum Master certificationSoftware development background or experience managing software development projects or complex data-driven solutionsLeadership experience/exposureKey competencies: Great communication skills (listening & understanding needs; written, verbal and presentation skills)Can collaborate with and engage stakeholders at all levelsFocused and organised – can prioritise tasks and consistently deliver on tight deadlinesProven ability to deliver great results while under pressureA positive, can-do attitudeAbility to think analytically and critically and problem solve collaborativelyKey responsibilities will include: Apply best practice in managing new and ongoing projects through various stagesUnderstanding business requirements, including process mapping, needs analysis and requirements draftingPutting the project plan together including risk assessment, timelines, and cost-benefit analysisLiaising with developers, QA, Technical Trainer, and other stakeholders to build, test and implement solutionsHolding all responsible parties to account on commitmentsCommunicating updates regularly regarding the tracking of projectsDriving the implementation of the solution, by co-ordinating with relevant parties and ensuring effective change managementMonitoring projects, providing post-deployment support, and reporting on impact as well as obtaining post-deployment feedback where relevantCollating feedback from implementationHand over projects timeously to ensure healthy capacity is maintained
