Bachelor degree in Engineering and/or ManagementMBA or advanced degree is a plusProject Management Institute (PMI) Certification is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with hands on operational knowledgeExperience in Automotive Industry is a plusExperience with customers in the stamped component and welded assembly marketMethodic, organized and analytical.Responsibilities:Guarantee the Implementation and utilization of the company project management systemin the Business UnitParticipate on the GATE 0Responsible for the planning, management, coordination and financial control of projects assuring client milestonesIssue and analyze request for quotations (RFQs) from approved suppliers to support production and pre-production requirements i.e.
- components, process materials, packaging, component tooling, etc.Lead sourcing decisions: negotiate price, delivery and payment termsInitiate and monitor Supplier APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), Vendor production readiness review and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions on new award programsWork with suppliers, managers, project teams to drive Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) and cost reductionsCoordinate with all functional areas and responsible of BU in order to achieve all the KPI´s targets established for the projectsManage cost reductions, engineering changes and key supplier meetings/activitiesActively participate and manage program planning and status meetingsArbitrate any conflicts with the customer related with technical and/or financial issuesTrack supplier capacity and loading as required
