Formal Qualification/Degree:Diploma in Education, BA or BSC degree in education or Social science degreeWork Experience (What kind of experience is needed to do this job?):Relevant experience in working with schools, NGOs, education sector, and communities Valid drivers license with driving experienceProject Execution:Identify the service provider to implement the intervention programme and propose them to the District Manager for endorsement.Set target baseline for the schools and service providersTogether with the school and service provider develop a programme plan including dates and time for training (afternoons, Saturday or during school holidays)Involve the relevant subject advisor or department to ensure the intervention is in line with the DoE curriculum statementsSchool Management Team, about the intervention programmeEnsure the school contract is completed and a detailed programme plan is submitted to all relevant stakeholdersPlan, schedule and monitor schools for the empowerment and transformation workshops (retreat).Quality Control:Monitor and measure the quality of the intervention programme using the relevant monitoring toolMeasure expenditure against the budget to ensure adherence.With the assistance of the SMT, solve challenges on commitment and attendance of educators and learners to the programmeOrder equipment and materials relevant to the programmeEnsure that service provider issue points towards continuous development including certificatesProject Management:Continuous monitoring and evaluation of the programme.Implement systems for tracking and evaluating project outcomes to measure success and identify areas for improvementDevelop the implementation planCompile profile of all educators supportedManage project budget utilisationMaintain proper budget reportsManage the delivery of projects according to project plan and base line targetsReview and update timelines plans if, and when necessaryReporting:Compile monthly or quarterly reports as per agreement with the District managerComplete the monitoring tool when attending training programmesAdminister the monitoring output tool and the demographics toolOther:Encourage community participation on projectsCompile a detailed profile for the school and communityEncourage and manage volunteerism in schoolPlan and manage events when necessaryFiling of all project related documents
