We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and meet the defined goals and objectives. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and execution to closure, providing visibility into progress, and addressing risks and issues to keep the project on track.What you'll do:Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of the project plan.Monitor project progress against established timelines and goals, addressing any deviations promptly.Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring proper documentation and communication with stakeholders.Track project schedule, quality, and resource utilization to ensure the project stays on course.Conduct regular status meetings to report on project progress and ensure transparency across all levels.Schedule and coordinate key meetings, such as the monthly Steering Committee meetings, ensuring proper documentation of key discussion points and action items.Identify and escalate potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery, proposing solutions as needed.Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned to inform future projects.Facilitate formal acceptance of project deliverables from stakeholders and ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards.Ensure all project documentation is properly stored and accessible, including uploading key deliverables to the project's SharePoint site.Manage the smooth transition of project deliverables to operational or maintenance teams, ensuring continuity and sustainability.Your expertise:Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent preferred)Proficiency in Project Management Tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or other relevant software.Proven track record of managing and successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality across all aspects of the project.Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)At least 4-5 years of experience in project management, with a proven history of managing end-to-end project delivery.In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.Additional Preferred Skills:Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.Knowledge of project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Basecamp.Strong risk management and problem-solving skills.LocationThis position is based in Johannesburg and will be hybrid.
