Project Manager

A client in the mining industry in Merafong City Local Municipality is looking to hire an experienced Construction/Project Manager with strong commercial and client liaison background.

Duties and Responsibilities
Supervising and managing subordinates in the area of responsibility
Implement and maintain the company's occupational health and safety programme to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Ensure adherence to all requirements as set out in the risk assessment
Ensure compliance as per ISO documentation
Ensure all documents are done and submitted on time
Monitoring and correcting project program
Veriftyng corrections of all information communicated to client and head office
Analyse daily delays experienced and possible delays
Monitoring progressive utilisation
Checking progressive revenue, cost and profit against budget
Authorising and controlling overtime
submitting invoices to clients and follow-up
Ensuring job training is dynamic and on-going and evaluated on a regular basis
Ensuring a client signs off production report daily
Liaising with relevant production managers at least once a week
Attending planning meetings weekly at each mine of area of responsibility
