Main purpose of the role
This is a full-time Project Manager role with flexibility for some remote work. The Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to project management, including expediting, inspection, logistics management, and coordinating project timelines. The role is located in Centurion (Johannesburg), but some work from home is acceptable, making it a hybrid role.
The role is to oversee the portfolio of organisational projects, providing expert knowledge and support, monitoring progress, and reporting on the portfolio status.
To manage projects/programmes directly and to develop, introduce and iterate on the organisation's Project Delivery Approach.
The primary role of the Project Manager is to plan, staff, implement, control and evaluate assigned projects.
Required minimum education and work experience
Must have a Recognized project management Qualification (PMP/APMP/Prince2/P30/PMBOK or equivalent) - there is a strong preference for Prince2
Must have Cyber Security IT experience
Business Management degree or qualification desirable
Experience in project management/methodologies within the Cyber Security IT industry
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Knowledge of cyber security and IT infrastructure
Timeous and quality engagement with stakeholders
Collaborate with all project stakeholders to define and validate project requirements
Strong project administration skills and the ability to multi-task
Quality implementation and delivery of project requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment and be able to flex between clients and delivery
