Project Manager

Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve high performance and quality in project delivery.Manage several high-visibility projects using agile methodologies.Conduct daily system checks.Assist on a wide variety of projects across all platforms (SCRM, OPUS, UNITY, DIALOG).Administer PMO reporting.Communicate with internal and external development teams.Communicate with end users.Facilitate Scrum Framework ceremonies.Required SkillsEffective interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands.In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.Solid understanding and demonstrated experience in using Agile Project Management tools and Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, and all Microsoft Office Tools.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience interacting with business and IT individuals at all levels, including the executive level.Creative problem-solving approach with the ability to focus on details while maintaining a big-picture view.Qualification RequirementsBCom Honours Degree or equivalent NQF Level 8 Qualification (minimum requirement).Professional Scrum Master (Level 1) certification is preferred but not essential. Candidates must be prepared to take this exam if hired.Solid understanding of software development life cycle models and expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies in enterprise-level application development projects.Balanced business/technical background with a sufficient level of technical understanding to provide credible leadership to development teams and evaluate complex project risks and issues accurately and objectively.Ability to lead business analysts and collaborate with customers to develop strategies and solutions of high business value.
