MAC Consulting isseeking an experienced ProjectManager to oversee Business as Usual (BAU) and drive operational excellenceinitiatives across our diverse range of mining activities.

As the Business as Usual (BAU) and Operational ExcellenceProject Manager, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth and efficientfunctioning of day-to-day operations. You will take charge of projects aimed atenhancing operational excellence, optimizing processes, and promotingcontinuous improvement.

Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure theyalign with company objectives and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintainseamless BAU activities, including production, logistics, and supply chainoperations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement andimplement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Lead projects focused on operational excellence, costreduction, and quality improvement.
Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs)to measure the success of operational activities.
Generate regular reports for management, highlightingareas of success and recommending improvements.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigationstrategies to ensure the safety and reliability of operations.
Implement best practices to minimize operational risksand ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, includingproduction teams, maintenance, safety, and environmental departments, toalign BAU activities with organizational goals.
Foster effective communication channels to addressconcerns and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements Provenexperience in project management, preferably in the mining industry.
Strongunderstanding of BAU operations and operational excellence principles.
Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills.
Effectivecommunication and leadership abilities.
