Location: You will either be based at our office in Centurion or at client in Sandton.

Hybrid: 2 days in office & 3 days remote



Synopsis: We are going to help the client with a system rewrite/modernization. So, we need a PM who understands Software Development Lifecycle, and has done similar projects. Also cloud experience, as we will probably move them from on-prem to cloud as well.

Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. Define project objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Coordinate and manage project activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication. Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members to enhance their skills and performance. Address and resolve project-related issues and risks promptly, maintaining project momentum. Steering Committee Presentations: Prepare and deliver regular project status reports and presentations to the Steering Committee. Provide clear and concise updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. Facilitate SteerCo meetings, ensuring that decisions are documented, and action items are followed up on. Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and manage expectations. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to address them. Monitor and control project risks, adjusting plans as necessary to mitigate impacts. Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits. Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to achieve project objectives. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered as per the defined requirements. Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
