Be among the first 25 applicantsOverall Purpose of The PositionPlan, execute, and complete projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to implementation and final delivery.Develop project plans, define project objectives and goals, allocate resources, manage budgets, coordinate project teams, communicate with stakeholders, identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure that projects are completed to meet customer specifications and requirements.Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, engineers, technicians, and other team members.Performance DeliverablesPlanningCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.Plan the quality control interventions into the project.Develop a feasible plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the organization's overall business strategy (company's Project 500 Strategic Plan).Time ManagementEnsure projects are executed within the allocated man-hours.Manage the changes on the project in line with the allocated schedule deadlines.Monitoring ProgressCreate schedules and project timelines.Monitor and report on project progress.Measure progress against plans created.Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.Collect project data for future use.Assembling and Leading Project TeamCollect and manage project teams.Support and direct teams.Manage the interactions of the different disciplines.Ensure the deliverables of each employee are in line with the schedule.Assign tasks and deadlines.Give tools to collaborate.Relocate resources as needed.BudgetManage budget. Monitor actual spent versus budget allowance.Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.Allocate project resources.Manage changes in the budget as well as changes on the contract.Quality and SatisfactionLead quality assurance on projects.Ensure projects are executed in accordance with the applicable quality standards.Manage the sub-supplier quality interventions within the project.Adhere to Company policies and procedures.Only use the latest, registered, official Company documentation.Ensure that all documents are completed in full, with quality information.Ensure that all documentation is protected from any form of damage or loss.Ensure the ISO 9001 processes and procedures are implemented and reviewed (QMS 'fit for purpose' for company & Project Engineering).Manage Issues and RiskPerform project risk assessments to identify inherent risks within the projects.Implement and manage the controls to minimise the risks.Evaluate all suppliers and parties to ensure competency and effectiveness.Reporting and DocumentationCompile and present reports to stakeholders on progress as well as problems and solutions.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.CommercialHelp define project scope, goals and deliverables.Evaluate and assess the result of projects.Manage all commercial aspects of the contracts.Manage the relationship with the sub-suppliers and all stakeholders.Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE)Adhere to SHE policies and procedures.Every employee shall:Use and take proper care of protective clothing, and other health and safety facilities and equipment provided for the protection, health or safety of that employee and other employees.Report promptly to their immediate reporting manager any situation which the employee believes presents a risk to the health or safety of that employee or any other person, and with which the employee cannot properly deal.Co-operate with any person to permit compliance with the duties and responsibilities placed on that person in terms of the Act.Comply with prescribed health and safety measures.Active participation to support the Company's SHERQ Management System to support internal quality controls and to secure sustainable business.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProject Management and Information TechnologyIndustriesMining
