My hospitality client is looking for an experienced Project Manager for their canteens. The ideal candidate will come from the same industry, i.e. corporate catering. Salary offered is R40k to R50k per month CTC. Job Title: Project Manager - Multi-Site Hospitality Operations Will operate across three busy sites: Student cafeteria and events catering. Coffee shop located within a teaching hospital. Require meticulous management due to the high-paced and demanding nature of operations. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the efficient running of these sites, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence. The Project Manager will take full responsibility for managing the three sites, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospitality management, preferably in the cafeteria industry, and excel in handling multiple priorities under pressure. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of operations at the three sites, including staffing, inventory, and service quality. Lead, motivate, and manage site managers and team members to achieve operational goals. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies. Develop and implement efficient workflows to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management. Coordinate and manage events catering, ensuring seamless execution. Act as the primary point of contact for client relationships and resolve any operational issues promptly. Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure standards are consistently met. Recruit, train, and mentor staff to build a skilled and motivated workforce. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in the cafeteria or food service industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost control. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions under pressure. Proficiency in using operational software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with health and safety and food hygiene regulations. Preferred Skills: Experience managing multi-site operations. Background in event catering coordination.
