Our client in the mining industry has a CONTRACT position available for are looking for an intermediate-senior project manager to join their dynamic team. Hybrid workplace model. Key focus areas of this role: Management of various short-term initiatives (monthly release cycles), with a key focus on detail and dependencies between teams, which can include:Management of deployment activities (deployment of system changes/developments- which includes management of testing team, ensuring compliance to governance, etc.)Coordination of a deployment with the vendorTracking and coordinating any high-profile activities that are on the critical path for the projectManage of a core deliver team of resources (approx. 4-6 resources) this team focuses on delivery of functionality and integrations on the IsoMetrix platformFacilitation of sessions to prioritise scope for delivery team with business ownersEngagement with broader IM Enterprise Applications team to ensure compliance and adherence to IM standardKey skills required: Attention to detail and the ability to quickly understand and adapt to new scenarios or situations (flexible and adaptable to adjust to new ways of working or a change in focus of scope/deliverables)Must have PM experience in management of system/software developmentExperience is integrations would be an additional benefitExperience in risks and issues management on a software projectAbility to understand processes and understand the root cause of issuesGood presentation skills and ability to convey a message to various levels on the project (to the team, program managers and to executives)Ability to work on fast pace and complex environment, with experience in integration between multiple work streams/sub-projectsMinimum Requirements:DiplomaExperience in DevOps and Agile project deliver is mandatoryExperience on IsoMetrix would be an additional benefit
