Project Manager (Competence Centre Industry)

SAGCC's Competence Centre Industry and Trade Fairs serves as an information, networking, and consulting platform for the Industry (incl. Automotive, Manufacturing, Health etc) and Agriculture Sectors in the markets of the SADC region.Job Description Providing market entry consultancy services to individual companies.Preparation of project proposals for public-funded initiatives.Management of projects in the in cooperation with partner organisations.Organisation of events and delegations.Maintaining and expanding SAGCC's network of cooperation partners from the private and public sectors in Germany and Southern Africa.Prepare and manage budgets for relevant projects. Minimum Requirements We are looking for a reliable, flexible team player who can work independently and self- motivated. We presume excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a solution- oriented, positive mindset.Relevant diploma/ degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experienceExperience in economic promotion or project development is an advantageExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishKnowledge of MS-Office programsAbility to build, maintain and extend industry-specific networksAbility to present to an audience/extensive communication skillsKnowledge of German industry and relevant technology is an advantageExperience in the implementation of publicly funded projects is an advantageKnowledge of German language is an advantage
