What you will do
As a Project Manager within Oracle Consulting, you will take on a challenging and exciting role managing full lifecycle Cloud Implementations using Oracle's True Cloud Methodology (TCM).
Your key responsibilities include:
Client Relationship Management: Establish, maintain, and deepen client relationships to ensure a successful partnership.
Project Leadership: Successfully lead projects by working effectively with client management, business users, and IT organizations.
Project Planning & Execution: Plan, manage, and communicate project progress, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. You will be responsible for the planning of customer-specific engagements, managing business requirements, and ensuring the successful execution of deliverables.
Risk Management: Identify risks and effectively mitigate them. Facilitate resolution of issues and escalate where necessary.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including project sponsors, project managers, and team members.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with project delivery leads and resources to manage scope, budget, timeline, resources, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Compliance: Stay up-to-date with Oracle's internal processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
Business Development: Help expand Oracle's solution footprint within the installed base of existing customers. Present and promote the value of Oracle Consulting Professional Services to prospective clients.
Project Oversight: Maintain overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, including planning, tracking, change control, risk management, and revenue/cost forecasting.
Team Direction: Provide day-to-day direction to the project team and regular project status updates to the customer.
Innovation & Creativity: Apply creativity, independent judgment, and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques.
Other Information and requirements:
Experience: Over 12+ years of experience relevant to this position, including 5-8 years of project/program management experience with approximately 5 complete end-to-end ERP Applications implementations.
Functional Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in a functional lead and/or solution architect role with domain knowledge of ERP applications.
Project Management Skills: Proven track record in managing complex projects/programs, implementation methodologies, project management tools (e.g., MS Project), project estimation, team management, client management, communications, and proposal leadership.
Communication & Negotiation: Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
Technical Proficiency: Competence in developing presentations and using MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required.
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree like a Master's is desirable.
Certifications: PMI or other PM certifications are preferred.
