Our esteemed client, a leader in the water treatment industry, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with 10-15 years of experience in project execution within this sector. This role is pivotal for overseeing the successful implementation of a key water treatment project. The ideal candidate will excel in managing all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while prioritizing safety. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 to 9 months, based in Rustenburg, North-West. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum 10-15 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects in the water treatment industry.Strong technical expertise in water treatment processes, equipment, and regulations.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software.Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.Availability for full-time, on-site work for the project duration.Contract-based work for the project duration.Own Vehicle with valid licenseNo Criminal RecordClean bill of Health to pass client site medicals.Willing to work underground.Energetic, hard workerMath Skills for using the principals of advanced math trouble shooting work, calculus for analysis.Duties: Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the successful execution of the water treatment project, driving teams towards project objectives and milestones.Execution Management: Oversee all aspects of project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of on-site activities to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.Budget Control: Manage project budgets effectively, monitoring expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with water treatment regulations and industry best practices.Safety Oversight: Champion a safety-first culture on-site, promoting adherence to safety protocols and regulations to mitigate risks and prevent accidents or incidents.Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring clear communication, alignment of, expectations, and timely resolution of issues.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful project delivery.Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, documenting project milestones, deviations from plans, and lessons learned for future improvement.Team Development: Mentor and support project team members, fostering their professional growth and development while promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging insights from project execution to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver greater value to stakeholders.If you have not heard from us within 3 months of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.
