IntroductionThe purpose of this role is to support Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation aligned to strategic objectives in the Logistics Operations. The Project Manager will report into the Logistics Executive and work closely with key Stakeholders to assist to enhance efficiency of the project design and implementation - with customer satisfaction as the primary goal. Based at our Distribution Centre, Cape Town.
Responsibilities To drive change management processes within Clicks operations and manage the rollout and implementation of all business process projects including the efficient execution of the project plan, resource allocation, management of stakeholders and teams and controlling of change and risks.To analyse, identify and make recommendations on business process improvement opportunities, with a focus on reducing time and cost.To develop business cases for proposed solutions considering cost and risk factors so as to aid management in efficient business decision-making.To implement metrics to measure project specific results.To effectively lead cross-functional teams to project timelines and output expectations.To work with and involve relevant stakeholders (IT/WMS provider etc) in identifying the root causes of problems and provide effective technical solutions.Coordinates activities with project director or operations director and other internal project teams to ensure alignment.To ensure compliance and provide business ownership of all systems and tools related to project delivery.To work on projects and initiatives ensuring meeting agreed timelines.Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.Assists in the preparation of capital expenditure requests for projects.Qualifications Matric CertificateBachelor's Degree (B.Com, Bus.
