This role is critical for our client, who requires a seasoned professional to manage the complexities of business transfers and employee rights under this legislation.This is a 12 month contractKey Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Lead the project from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership within the bank to align project goals with organizational strategies.Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.Cultural Alignment: Implement initiatives that promote culture alignment within the organization during the transition.Training Development: Design and oversee training programs for staff to ensure smooth adaptation to new processes and compliance requirements.Soft Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex legal frameworks.Ability to lead and motivate a large team while fostering a collaborative environment.Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a legal or human resources role, with specific expertise in Section 197 of the Labour Relations Act.Corporate banking experience within CIB / Business Banking Compliance teams.Project Management Skills: Proven track record in managing large-scale projects, preferably within a corporate environment.Legal Qualification: A degree in law with a focus on labour law is essential.HR Operational Experience: Strong background in human resources operations, including knowledge of employee rights and organizational behavior.
