We have created a studio where our designers' passion for working with nature and tackling climate change can be fully realised within our projects.As a design studio, we provide outstanding quality of service with a nature led design approach that creates holistic solutions, connects people with nature, enhances biodiversity and searches for solutions to climate change.You'll be joining a dynamic, growing design studio of sustainable drainage engineers, ecologists and landscape architects with a huge vision with a range of roles available to join us at our city centre studio in Chester.Job description:A Project Landscape Architect's focus will be to deliver technical and creative output of design information on projects, lead on projects and drive innovative, creative designs in line with the Land Studio values. A Project Landscape Architect will possess good design and enthusiasm along with technical experience to help take the Studio forward. They will report directly to a Senior or Associate Landscape Architect and preferably be chartered.Project DeliveryCommunicate design information creatively, coherently and accurately to the required specification of the Studio under the supervision of the Senior and Associate Landscape Architects and Directors.Deliver and co-ordinate multiple projects at any one time.Lead on projects under minimal supervision from Associate Landscape Architects and Directors.Deliver project outputs on time and in accordance with time allocation/budget constraints.Provide guidance to junior members of the team in relation to design and delivery of project outputs.Lead on the financial performance of their projects and requirements for change.Attend and lead on design reviews.Undertake QMS procedures for project delivery.Drive efficiencies with software and technical advances in the Studio.Research, monitor and promote best practice in design.Gain understanding and experience of design across all levels of Landscape Architecture.Understanding and use of the Land Studio Quality Management Systems.Understanding and use of timesheets and expense processes.Effective time management.Chartered or working towards chartership.Studio Management:Attendance and input at the weekly resourcing meetings.Provide update to management on current project delivery, project programme and any changes.Champion all disciplines within the Studio outside the Practice.Input into technical advances and improvements on efficiencies with output.Lead, attend and help deliver knowledge sharing sessions.Compliance with Land Studio Policies and Values.If this role sounds ideal to you, then please email ****** with your CV and Covering letter.
