Project Governance Officer

Qualifications and Experience Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in project governance or management. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2) preferred. Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools for tracking governance activities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Additional Requirements Relevant certifications in project governance or management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed. Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining independent judgment. Key Responsibilities Governance Framework Implementation: Develop and implement governance frameworks and policies. Project Monitoring and Compliance: Monitor project performance and conduct regular audits. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project managers and communicate governance expectations. Training and Support: Deliver training on governance best practices and provide guidance. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and refine governance processes based on feedback. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of governance activities and develop reporting tools. Contract Details Primarily based in Tshwane, with flexibility to engage with various departments.
