Our client in the mining industry is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Fleet Supervisor to oversee and manage a variety of projects within the company, including plant hire, product sourcing and delivery, and construction services . The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Minimum requirements: National Diploma in Fleet &/or Project Management would be advantageous. Minimum 3 years experience in Project Supervision (Yellow fleet experience is advantageous). Strong knowledge of project management principles, with experience in fleet management, administration, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of QMS & ISO standards would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills in English , Sesotho , and Afrikaans . Valid Code 8 Driver's License. Required skills : Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and organizational abilities. Financial and budget management skills. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities : Lead projects to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, scope, and budget. Develop and manage detailed project plans, tracking progress and resources. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution. Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project status. Identify, manage, and resolve project risks and issues efficiently. Prepare and present project reports on budgets, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure optimal use of vehicles, plant, and equipment in line with company standards. Oversee compliance with Company Standards, SOPs, OHS, SABS, Road Transport Act, and Road Traffic Act. Manage vehicle fleet system, inter-dependencies, and risk mitigation. Control and monitor fleet management budget and expenditures. Schedule and monitor repairs and maintenance to ensure fleet availability. Lead, manage, and train department staff to maintain high performance.
