Overview Job Title: Project & Engineering Manager
Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project & Engineering Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects within our client's organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project & Engineering Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and execute engineering projects from start to finish. Manage and oversee a team of engineers, providing leadership and guidance as needed. Develop and maintain project budgets and timelines to ensure successful completion. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with organizational goals. Implement and maintain project management best practices to achieve project objectives. Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that arise. Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and performance. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and other project partners. Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience as a Project Manager or Engineering Manager in a technical or engineering environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the engineering field. Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in project management tools and software. PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
