Project Engineer - Plc Programming

The above vacancy exists at our Technical - Bulk Engineering department, Kempton Park, reporting to the Bulk Engineering Manager. Qualified candidates who meet the requirements of the role are invited to apply.

Job Description Key overview and responsibilities: The Project Engineer will be responsible for the management of new installations and associated resources.
The key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Design safe and cost effective engineered solutions for customer requirements;Lead and direct the installation and commissioning of equipment on customer sites for Bulk Engineering department;Responsible for electrical and instrumentation system design and installation;Responsible for project management activities in Bulk Engineering department;Responsible for providing maintenance support;Support regional and maintenance activities as and when required.Minimum Requirements Matric or equivalent qualification;Must have a completed Degree/Diploma in Chemical/Electrical/Instrumentation engineering;Project Management qualification would be advantageous;Minimum of 3 – 7 years experience in a Project /Maintenance and Engineering environment in the Industrial or Chemical industry;Experience in Cryogenic Design and Project Management would be advantageous;Knowledge and experience in design and installation of process; electrical and instrumentation systems;Programming PLC's (Allen Bradley software would be advantageous);Knowledge of JDE modules would be advantageous (or any other ERP system);Must have a valid Driver's license and own reliable transport.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
