Project Engineer

Possible Tasks:Plan and develop logistics material flow concepts for production and warehouse environments.Create detailed layouts, drawings, and specifications for specialized facilities.Design and procure logistics facilities (e.g., stillages, pallets, trolleys, racking, packaging).Define, coordinate, and monitor project plans.Prepare supplier Enquiry Requests and evaluate quotations.Negotiate with suppliers and justify capital expenditure through appropriation requests.Issue purchase requisitions and oversee project acceptance via equipment trials.Prepare budget pricing for investment programs and cost studies.Develop and implement packaging specifications.Draft and update Logistics Material Handling Contract specifications.Qualifications:Degree or National Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or Purchasing.Experience Required:3+ years in logistics processes within a manufacturing environment.Minimum of 18 months in project management.Essential Skills:Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.Independent, self-driven, and capable of meeting tight deadlines under pressure.Proficient communicator with strong written and verbal skills.Competent in creating and interpreting 3D CAD drawings.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).Added Advantages:Experience in the automotive manufacturing sector.Familiarity with SAP Supply Chain Management systems.German language proficiency.
