Minimum requirements for the role:Must have a B. Tech. in Electronics, N6 Electronics, or an equivalent water treatment and agricultural qualificationKnowledge and experience with water treatment technologies, systems, and principles is advantageousStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop plans to capture opportunities and avoid business and customer lossesAbility to demonstrate innovation in installations and service businessExcellent communication and customer management skillsAbility to work under pressure, meet fixed deadlines, and manage within project budgetsDemonstrable drive and commitment to the company and its tasksStrong customer focus, with exceptional customer service skillsExcellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a flat organizational structure and interact with individuals at various levels of the organizationMust possess a valid passport and driver's license and be willing to travel when requiredThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Engaging with end users and representing the company in a professional and positive manner.Carrying out site installations, site inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, or troubleshooting at customer sites without supervision and within project timescales.Assisting dealer technicians in installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting faults.Carrying out corrective maintenance without supervision, within acceptable timescales, escalating any problems if required, and maintaining ownership of the problems until the customer is satisfied.Executing service calls and providing telephone support.Overseeing after-hour emergency corrective maintenance.Generating parts and service RFQs from end users or through dealerships.Leading company installation personnel on site when required.Providing feedback and reporting on any ongoing problems, including reliability or underperformance, to the Sales Manager/Executive Director.Completing and submitting the relevant reports and documentation upon commissioning.Managing own workload and planning all activities.Staying highly motivated, dynamic, and demonstrating good problem-solving capability.Providing input on product development needs and opportunities to the Sales Manager, Executive Director, and OEM.Assisting the sales team in promoting and selling upgrades and parallel projects on site.Assisting in identifying and implementing improvements that enhance customer interactions.Travelling in and around Sub-Saharan Africa, including surrounding countries and international travel.Please note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidates
