Minimum requirements for the role: A minimum Grade 12 is essential for this role.
A Degree/Diploma is preferred.
Must have a knowledge of project management and a knowledge of the technical field.
Previous (least 5 years) experience working in the IT/Software or similar sector .
Must have exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
Must be proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
Must have strong communication skills for both team and client interactions.
Must have strong written and verbal communication and ability to communicate in an accurate, concrete, clear, concise, and understandable manner to maximize comprehension of the message.
Must be able to manage client expectations and build long-term relationships.
Must have a proven capability to lead teams and manage resources effectively.
Must have the potential or capacity to arrange the availability and allocation of required resources, the designing and utilization of control systems as well as the delegation and coordination of the tasks and duties of individuals and groups, in a way that ascertains the smooth flow of work throughout the workplace.
Must have MS Office Computer skills, with Intermediate to Presentations, Word/ Excel and mail writing.
Must be able to work well with and support others.
Must be able to work well under pressure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for: Coordinating the accurate and timeous managing/completion of projects in line with company policies and procedures.
Overseeing the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
This role demands a seamless blend of technical expertise and client management skills, ensuring that projects align with client needs and expectations.
Reviewing overall quality of projects performed at Head Office on behalf of Support, OPS, Account Managers and third parties.
Reviewing and monitoring daily projects.
Checking that the correct balances have been used in all reconciliations.
Checking randomly items being performed for the project, making sure quality is adhered to.
Ensuring that employees adhering to policies and procedures and report on non-adherence.
Assisting and guiding staff dealing with projects.
Overseeing compliance of SLAs that exist with client projects.
Assisting with queries/issues that might arise during projects.
Defining project scope, goals, and stakeholders.
Assessing the feasibility of the project in the context of client needs and organizational goals.
Detailing project stages, identifying required resources, setting timelines, and allocating tasks.
Leading the project team, managing communications, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
Tracking project performance, specifically to ensure it remains on schedule and within budget.
Making necessary adjustments in case of deviations.
Ensuring all tasks have been completed and objectives achieved.
Providing post-project analysis and feedback.
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, updating them on project progress, addressing concerns, and gathering feedback.
Ensuring clients are informed about the project process and train them on any new systems or products as necessary.
Establishing a streamlined feedback process to ensure client comments and concerns are promptly addressed.
Guiding the project team, ensuring they have clarity on their tasks and objectives.
Provide mentoring as necessary.
Ensuring that team members have the necessary resources to effectively perform their tasks.
Addressing any team disputes, ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment.
Participating in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the staff/ office safety plans for each year.
Reporting all safety incidents to the relevant people.
Compiling with safety policies and procedures at workplace.
Distributing safety information as and when required.
Wearing protective clothing all the time.
Ensuring that staff around you are working safely.
Ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.
Ensuring that clients are satisfied with the management of projects which will be measured through client feedback.
Ensuring that there is efficient resource allocation and team productivity so that the project plan is adhered to.
Ensuring that effective conflict resolution is applied when required so that there are minimal project disruptions.
Ensuring that you are continuously upskilling and improving through continuous professional development in the domain of project management.
