Engineering from HEC recognized Institute5 -10 years of working experience in relevant fieldExperience managing engineering, procurement, and construction activities for EPC projectsProficiency in project management softwareFluency English Communication (Verbal & Written)Responsibilities:Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibilityOrganize and direct all engineering forces in the project organizationAssist the Project Manager with the resolution of engineering issues and determination of solutionsCoordinate engineering matters with the Client and subcontractorsEstablish design engineering proceduresParticipate in weekly project meetings with ClientReview and approve engineering documents i.e. drawings, specifications and requisitionsPlan and direct receiving, distribution, and filing of drawings and specifications through the Document ControllerAssure the latest drawings and other engineering documents are maintained and accessible to all personnel in the offices and that subcontractors have the latest revisionsAssure the drawings and other engineering documents issued for construction accessible to all concerned personnel on siteAssure development of complete engineering records for the project recordAuthorize requisitions for materials and subcontracting in regard to technical mattersReport change/supplemental work related to engineering to the Control GroupPrepare description of change proposalEnsure that engineering work proceeds in accordance with the quality assurance planReview all non-conformance and concession reportsPrepare the disposition plan for non-conformance items, in accordance with the QA/QC procedure and authorizes disposition planInterpret designs drawings and specifications and provides technical advice to construction department and QA/QC department explaining requirements of engineering and design specifications consistent with good construction practiceAnswer the queries raised by construction personnel to support construction programCoordinate turnover procedure efforts among all parties concerned, including compilation of the documents required for facilities turnover to the ClientJob Location: On siteSalary: Negotiable on the skill set and experience
