PURPOSE OF ROLE To complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling project technical elements, producing engineering outputs through execution of engineering processes, performing engineering scope control, and coordinating technical staff using the engineering plan.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Engineering outputs Produce compliant, procurable, and constructible engineering deliverablesProvide technical support during constructionResolve technical open items and prepare as-built documentationProject Engineering Coordination Assess and determine technical direction of the designFacilitate effective communication between functional areasServe as primary technical point of contact for the customerCoordinate across multi-disciplinary engineering functionsContract Scope Management Interpret client requirements and address design parametersManage technical aspects of third-party contractorsDefine technical scope for service providersDepartmental and Company Processes Adhere to approved procedures and project management principlesInterface with various departments (Procurement, Legal, SHEQ, Project Controls)Provide input to project schedules and change control processesQUALIFICATION Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university or equivalentProfessional registration with ECSA or recognized international body
EXPERIENCE Minimum of 10 years in Design Engineering, with 5 years ideally in the Energy IndustryAt least 1 year of supervisory experience (leading and managing a technical team)
