Key Performance Output The successful candidates will be reporting to the Manager Maintenance Engineering and will be responsible but not limited to the following: Provide technical and professional support and expertise by assessing and analysing the required problems or needs in order to propose optimal technical solutions and recommendations for ACSA's airports Compile feasibility studies. Conduct critical assessment of ACSA's maturity in order to propose relevant solution / recommendation. Adhere and comply to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, policies, SOP's, operational standards and practices. Develop engineering brief (scoping, technical specification, standards). Provide continuous technical support, auditing for the life cycle of the project and conduct post implementation audits. Provide input into contract specifications. Generate technical and operational specifications to support tender and request for proposals. Ensure effective and compliant contract management and that work is executed in accordance with contract (time frame, SLA, Scope, quality, budget, contractors). Perform quality inspection on work done and implement/propose remedial action where necessary. Determine, as part of cross-functional team, evaluation criteria and participate in evaluation and award of bids / tenders received. Conduct an assessment on project pre-feasibility, strategic value and importance and related risk analysis as an input into project prioritization. Mobilise project team, develop a Work Breakdown Structure and request a provisional team schedule from the PMO. Manage the development of a detailed project plan by consolidating the project requirements, considering costs and expenditures and expected timescales. Monitor and control project work including scope and cost control, review of team deliverables, quality control with assistance from PMO and resource management Provide input to CAPEX/OPEX budget for internal projects Provide direction, guidance and support to project team members and share knowledge and expertise required for optimal project delivery Contribute to the development of ACSA technological competence and its professional standards. Technical Skills and Experience The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: Bachelor's degree Engineering/BSc (4 Years – 480 Credits). 5 years operational experience in coordination and implementation of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. 2 years in Project Management, Procurement & Stakeholder Management PMbok (will be an added advantage). Must be registered in South African Council for Project & Construction Management Professions (SACPMP) will be an added advantage Relevant voluntary built environment associations will be added advantage Project Management Skills MS Office Code 8 Drivers license Airport Operations and Planning Understanding of legal and contract management
