Position SummaryThis role will report directly to the Senior Director, Media Partnerships – NBA Africa and will be a key contributor to maximizing media rights revenue and distribution opportunities for NBA Africa including the Basketball Africa League. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least two years' experience in media, marketing, or management consulting ecosystems, and will be required to assist with B2B account management and project facilitation. The candidate should be a digital native, energetic self-starter with a strong affinity for client-focused delivery, communication, and a demonstrated track record of delivering client projects on time with excellent results.Major ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentSupport the Director by gathering business intelligence and conducting media rights market analysis.Support onboarding processes for new partnerships, renewals, and upsells.Create and deliver consultative sales presentations using industry knowledge, market trends, and NBA marketing solutions.Coordinate admin and reporting for sales engagements, partner management, and due diligence files for all new and existing partners.Facilitate partner content and programming.Partner Marketing and Promotions CoordinationFacilitate marketing campaigns for NBA and BAL tentpoles (e.g., Start-of-Season and All-Star weekend) with existing and new partners.Coordinate admin associated with partner activation and regular updates with the Africa marketing team and New York GMD Business Operation Team on client activities for marketing and programming.Coordinate viewership and subscription data reporting requests with partners on a regular basis.Required Skills / KnowledgeStrong consultative analytical skills.Fluency in English required.Creative ideation and problem-solving skills.Must be detail-oriented and organized.Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple ongoing projects.Demonstrated computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills utilized to liaise cross-functionally and build relationships.Ability to work well within a team environment.Experience NeededMinimum of 2 years of management consulting, media business operations experience, or client account management experience.Campaign experience.Account management experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external clients is essential.Prior media or sports experience is a plus.Educational Background RequiredBachelor's degree required in business administration, marketing, law, or economics.
