Your mission
Development of Renewable Energy projects (Solar, Wind, BESS and Hybrid Projects) throughout South Africa.
Identification and evaluation of new project opportunities – greenfield and acquisition
Contribute to strategic planning of project pipeline
Representing the company towards landowners, authorities, partners, local communities and key stakeholders
Support offtake development & PPA discussions
Management of project budgets
Management of external consultants appointed to assigned projects
Your profile
Must have (minimum 2 years) experience in Renewable Energy project development
A good understanding of the full project development cycle, including technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements of Renewable projects
Self-driven, motivated, hands-on mentality and be well organised.
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively, nationally & internationally
Great written and oral communication skills and be comfortable presenting
Be able to use Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) and common project management tools
Experience with GIS
Tertiary education in a technical or commercial field
Business fluent in English, additional South African languages are a plus
