Project Developer

Ensure the successful development of wind and solar projects to either be sold to investors and/ or tendered into the DMRE's REIPPPP • Manage your own wind and solar project portfolio.• Identify, evaluate and select new wind and solar PV opportunities.• Appoint and manage external consultants to undertake inter alia EIAs and other environmental/ planning studies and preliminary engineering studies and site design.• Undertake the numerous other project permitting and approval processes, which entails inter alia regular engagement with relevant government departments (e.g.
the DFFE, DAFF, CAA, etc,).• Engage with engineering companies to better understand project grid connection options and prepare required documentation to secure Eskom grid access.• Thoroughly and accurately document and administer all project related information.• Be involved in relevant industry association committees and initiatives.
