Project Cost Engineer

Job Title: Project Cost Engineer Location:  Limpopo, Greater Sekhukhune District, Burgersfort Job Type:  24 Month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry:  Mining Job Duties: Develop and maintain project cost estimates and budgets Monitor and track project expenses and analyse cost variances Prepare cost reports and forecasts for project stakeholders Collaborate with project managers and engineers to control project costs Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field Proven experience as a Cost Engineer or similar role in the mining industry Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Proficiency in cost estimation and budgeting techniques Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project cost engineering in the mining sector Knowledge and Skills: Advanced knowledge of cost control principles and practises Proficiency in project management software and MS Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification in Cost Engineering or Project Management Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field
