Project Cost Controller

RPO Recruitment is seeking a skilled Project Cost Controller for a reputable client in the Mining Industry located in Northern Cape.
In this role, you will be pivotal in managing project budgets, costs, and associated financial processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities: Establish and maintain project cost control systems, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures Prepare project budgets and forecasts, tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle Analyze project costs, identifying trends and variances, and providing actionable insights Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to facilitate budget discussions and cost optimization strategies Prepare regular financial and performance reports for management review Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls Requirements Bachelor's degree in in Quantity Surveying Project Management Certificate Cost Management Certificate Minimum of 5 years of experience in project cost control in the mining industry At least 3 years' estimating experience Minimum 2 years' operational contract management experience Strong knowledge of cost management processes, tools, and techniques Proficiency in project management and financial software Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams Benefits Salary: Negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)   RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
