This position is primarily responsible for sourcing new business through tenders and comparable processes.
SD Recruitment (Pty) Ltd provides a 24/7 service, which means the Project Coordinator must ensure cover of their functions at all times for urgent matters based on operational requirements relating to Tenders and Contract management.
? Monitor and update list of portals and websites used for publishing tenders ? Identify suitable tenders (public and private entities) and submit recommendations to Senior Management and OR HODs ? Track submitted proposals for possible follow-up and/or resubmission ? File all tender applications, proposals and RFQs in a suitable system, including electronic and/or hard copy as needed ? Compile and update tenders / RFQ tracker ? Ensure all relevant tender briefings are attended as needed and compile a tender briefing report for each attendance ? Inform Senior Management of payments required for tenders and action accordingly ? Compile tender applications, proposals and RFQs ? Complete tender documentation and applications, including proposals as well as requests from prospective and new Clients ? Ensure all company documents are current and relevant ? Ensure validity of company compliance documents (e.g.
company registration, tax clearance, BBBEE certification, etc.)
? Ensure all relevant internal documents reflect the correct templates and details ? Ensure documents are certified as needed ? Ensure submissions are done within the deadline and via a suitable means ? Request and complete new application forms for suppliers ? Order stationery required for completion of tenders, proposals and RFQs ? Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of any matters brought to you and/or handled by you, including any data processed by you ? Ad hoc additional or alternative functions, including outside of ordinary hours, as may be reasonably required Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in Procurement / Supply Chain Management / Business Development Relevant qualification aligned to the scope of practice with a minimum of 3 years relevant working experience OR a minimum of 5 - 6 years relevant experience with a Grade 12
