KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Build an inventory of all projects. Compile and consolidate reports and ensure that all reports are accurate and consistent. Facilitate EIA applications for projects. Coordinate and monitor the work of Environmental Consultants. Ensure that support tools and admin systems are in place. Ensure timeous and high-quality processing of EIA applications. Report on progress. Coordinate and monitor the work activities of learnership contractors and COJ EPWP Personnel. Assist on identification of projects for learner contractors. Report EPWP stats monthly. Coordinate compilation of business plans. Ensure that project plans and resources are in place. Monitor and evaluate projects. Report on project performance and progress. Provide support to Investment Managers and Project Engineers regarding SAP and project tracker or any other project management system. Create new projects on SAP and resolve issues. Manage consultants and contractors' payment certificates workflow. Ensure compliance and effective implementation of all relevant legislative requirements. Establish project monitoring and reporting templates. Deploy consistent processes, templates, and best practices. Provide support to all Users. Ensure systems effectiveness. Plan, direct & supervise work activities of subordinates. Plan, manage and monitor budget. Prepare manual containing system information, contract management procedure manual, SOPs, etc for all new Capex employees.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE BTech / BSc Civil Engineering (NQF 7) including a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management / National Diploma in Finance Management / similar qualifications. 5 years project management and 2 years financial management experience. Valid Drivers' Licence
