Project Coordinator

Minimum requirements: 10 years' experience managing subcontractors of various disciplines on medium to large scale construction projects Previous experience in project planning essential Experience in the agricultural industry beneficial National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering as minimum Trade Certificate an advantage Project Management Certificate an advantage MS Office Suite and MS Project experience Responsibilities: Attend project start up meetings and record timelines agreed to with customer Plan project milestones in terms of staging, shipping, installation and completion Open project files and ensure documentation and records are maintained. These include and are not limited to, accepted quotation, project drawings, shipment documents etc. Monitor progress against milestones and resolve any discrepancies. Report any issues to the appropriate staff members and in the manner prescribed by the company Review project drawings, bill of materials and/or any other documentation pertaining to the equipment requirements of projects and report any discrepancies Inspect equipment staged and ensure completeness of equipment staged against the bill of materials Follow up with procurement division to ensure items on back order have been ordered and update the project plan with estimate time of arrivals and potential issues Ensure appointed installer are furnished with the company approved installer agreement, health and safety guidelines, drawings, variation notices, installation plans or any other document pertaining to the installation Installation support Customer centricity and market intelligence Administration and reporting Health and Safety
