Minimum requirements: 10 years' experience managing subcontractors of various disciplines on medium to large scale construction projectsPrevious experience in project planning essentialExperience in the agricultural industry beneficialNational Diploma in Mechanical Engineering as minimumTrade Certificate an advantageProject Management Certificate an advantageMS Office Suite and MS Project experienceResponsibilities:Attend project start up meetings and record timelines agreed to with customerPlan project milestones in terms of staging, shipping, installation and completionOpen project files and ensure documentation and records are maintained. These include and are not limited to, accepted quotation, project drawings, shipment documents etc.Monitor progress against milestones and resolve any discrepancies. Report any issues to the appropriate staff members and in the manner prescribed by the companyReview project drawings, bill of materials and/or any other documentation pertaining to the equipment requirements of projects and report any discrepanciesInspect equipment staged and ensure completeness of equipment staged against the bill of materialsFollow up with procurement division to ensure items on back order have been ordered and update the project plan with estimate time of arrivals and potential issuesEnsure appointed installer are furnished with the company approved installer agreement, health and safety guidelines, drawings, variation notices, installation plans or any other document pertaining to the installationInstallation supportCustomer centricity and market intelligenceAdministration and reportingHealth and Safety
