Project Coordinator

Purpose of the RoleResponsible for Project Coordination and Support for small to medium sized projects, including various project and general administrative tasks. The role focuses on successful execution of activities and administration associated with projects, as well as general administration to support successful project execution within the division.Key Performance AreasProject Related:Retrieve and document project requirementsEstablish deliverables for received Scope of WorkSource pricing and timing estimatesIssue quotations and liaise with clientsProcess orders and coordinate deliveriesEnsure invoicing and effective communicationTrack project progress and report to Senior ManagerProject Team and Divisional Related:Administrate Divisional PPE, Equipment, AccommodationSupport coordination of Divisional and Project functionsGeneral:Coordinate and review monthly Divisional dataAdministrate establishment of facilities, equipment, or infrastructureQualificationsMatric / relevant qualificationBasic or short courses in Project Management (advantageous)ExperienceAt least 8 years of administration / coordination experienceExperience in Industrial Plant Projects (advantageous)Proven track record of administration and project coordination activities, with referencesCompetenciesKnowledgeUnderstanding of client serviceUnderstanding of Industrial clients and organisation structuresUnderstanding of construction projects, support and maintenanceSkillsAdvanced computer literacy (internet, Microsoft Office suite)Proficiency in MS ProjectsBehaviourAttention to detailAnalytical thinkingHigh degree of integrityGood communication skillsAccountabilityMethodical approach to workAbility to establish and adjust prioritiesPassion for client service and working with peopleFlexibility to meet client requirements and work after hours when needed
