The project coordinator will organise and manage the various parts of a project to ensure its success. This includes assigning and monitoring daily tasks and communication, as well as creating reports and updates for the project manager and other members of management.
What will make you successful in this role?Project Management Work closely with the Project Manager (PM) to understand the needs of the project, the project plan and how to support its execution.Set up the necessary meetings to execute the project plan.Execute the project management tracking process.Prepare status reports and draft presentations for various stakeholders.Escalate impasses to PM.Support the PM in ensuring that all projects adhere to RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) log management.Process Efficiency Manage the engagement of the project team by setting up relevant meetings, discussions etc.Manage the tracking of critical risks for reporting purposes and ensure that the PM is aware of these.Allocation of tasks to various project team under the guidance of the PM.Draw reports from JIRA and compile reports which are required by the Project for the various governance structures for the PM.Prepare minutes (recordings) for relevant meetings to ensure that to maintain records of discussions, decisions and signoffs of project milestones.Stakeholders Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive delivery against project milestones.Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document defects, obtain clarity, replicate defects where possible to ensure clear understanding so issues can be resolved adequately.Build strong relationships with Business representatives from each OE to ensure successful achievement of the common goals.Qualification and ExperienceMatric Certificate.Computer literate (Working knowledge of Advanced MS Office).Working knowledge of JIRA and other project management software.Knowledge and SkillsExcellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills.Strong client service orientation.Ability to work under pressure.Problem solving.Hard-working.Core CompetenciesCultivates innovation - Contributing through others.
