Project Controls Manager

The Big Picture:Howden, a Chart Industries Company, is a global leader in air and gas handling products, services, and solutions. Howden's core focus is on providing quality solutions for air and gas handling, with over a century of experience.Howden MEA Projects Division is looking for an experienced Project Controls Manager. This position will be responsible for all aspects of costing and gross profit for Howden Projects. Key responsibilities include:Generating and forecasting a project cash flow profile.Establishing the project master schedule.Development of the project implementation programme.Control forecast and optimize resource man-hours peak level.Project Financial Management:The cost engineering function deals with estimates and forecasts, while cost accounting deals with work accomplished relative to contractual terms and conditions.Project Change Control:Maintaining a policy of no surprises, managing change for approval, maintaining a scope change register, and revising project budget and forecasts as needed.Project Control Systems:Utilizing systems like Estimating, Documentation control, Engineering progress, Cost management, Time management, Three-dimensional design, and Planning and scheduling systems.SOX Compliance:Adhering to Sarbanes Oxley and AX controls.Requirements:- BCom/National Diploma in a related field- 5+ years of experience in a project environment- Knowledge of ERP-based financial reporting systems- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel- Good communication and analytical skills- Deadline-driven and ability to work under pressureWhat You'll Get:Opportunity to work for a global engineering organization in a challenging role with development opportunities.About Us:- Worldwide presence in 27 countries- 6000 employees and world-leading engineers- Over 160 years of innovation and development- Strong corporate identity and purpose- Culture promoting individual development
