SurTech is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.

Reason for vacancy: Team expansion Reporting to: Head of Services/PMO Manager Management level of role: This is not a management role.
Working environment & travel: Team-orientated environment.
Drivers license and own transport are essential.
Working hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm when in the office and will ideally understand that there may be times that they need to work overtime.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning: Assist in developing project charters, schedules, and other projects artefacts in collaboration with the PMO Manager and team members.
Collaboration: Collaborate with government agencies or departments to understand their requirements and expectations.
Documentation Management: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, and action items.
Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
Task Tracking and Follow-Up: Track project tasks, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
Follow up with team members to ensure tasks progress according to schedule and escalate any issues or delays to the PMO manager.
Communication Facilitation: Facilitate communication between the implementation team and clients.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify project risks and issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Monitor risk registers and issue logs and escalate critical issues to the PMO manager for resolution.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Address client inquiries and concerns and provide updates on project progress and status as needed.
Required Experience The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field to be eligible for the job.
It is desirable for the candidate to have certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP, AGILE, PRINCE 2).
At least three years of proven experience in project coordination or related roles, preferably in the software implementation space.
Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the SaaS industry or a related industry Proficient in project management tools and software and have experience working with MS Office.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.

The Project Coordinator should be able to allocate time appropriately, set realistic deadlines, and adapt to changes in project timelines.
Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability are essential for navigating changes in project scope, requirements, and priorities.
The Project Coordinator should be able to adjust plans and strategies as needed to accommodate evolving project needs and external factors.
Customer Focus: Understanding and prioritising client and stakeholder needs is critical for successful projects.
