The role provides the perfect opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing consulting firms in South Africa with direct exposure to senior stakeholders in the industry. The successful candidate will also have access to a large library of training as Monocle prides itself on the significant upliftment of its people.The Project Management Office is a core function of the Monocle business, tasked with ensuring client-facing projects occur on time and are effectively managed. You will be responsible for administering the operational functions of the Project Management Office.The role requires a professional who is comfortable working in high-pressure environments, with senior stakeholders in consulting and the finance industry, while understanding and navigating multiple complex systems and processes. You will need to be highly motivated, organised, and able to work in a dynamic environment.Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesRunning operations for the Project Management Office.Executing proposals and the onboarding processes.Capturing key metrics related to the operational/administrative functions that are performed.Ensuring the PMO data is maintained and accurate.Ensuring timely reporting on operational processes and developing/enhancing reports as per the needs of the business.Providing detailed, succinct feedback on challenges faced during the execution of operational processes and proposing solutions.Professionally engaging with various internal and external stakeholders to drive operational results.Critically evaluating processes and recommending improvements.Minimum Requirements2 years relevant work experience.Proven ability to perform operational/administrative tasks on a daily basis across multiple systems.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.Professional project management or project administration certification is preferred.Experience in consulting operations is preferable.Experience in process optimisation, workflow, and mapping is preferable.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.The Ideal CandidateHas an enquiring mind and is eager to learn and improve their professional skillset.Has strong attention to detail.Has the ability to work independently and collaborate with the wider business.Is able to work in a dynamic environment where one day never looks like another.Is enthusiastic in their approach to their work.Regards themselves as a high performer.Is an excellent communicator with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Works well under pressure to meet client objectives.Is sociable and enjoys interacting with others, both at work and at social events.Works well independently and in a team.Recruitment ProcessDuring the interview process, you will meet with different Monocle representatives.
